Sherri Shepherd, one of the co-hosts of "The View," recently won one of her child custody cases. Shepherd's ex-husband filed for temporary physical custody of their 9-year-old son, claiming that Shepherd's job was of more importance to her than their child. However, a judge denied the man's claim, saying that nothing "material" had changed and that the custody arrangement would remain as is.
After a divorce, the last thing you probably want to do is think about is getting friendly with your ex - at least for most people, anyway. Most divorces simply aren't that amicable. At some point, though, ex-couples find it's just easier to become somewhat friendlier towards an ex-spouse.
A 3-year-old girl has returned to Sweden with her father after a ruling by a federal judge. In February, the girl's father filed a lawsuit that claimed the girl's mother did not return to Sweden as planned after a trip to Iowa to visit her mother. The judge found that the mother violated the 1980 Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction and ordered her to return the child to Sweden.
