When the way you parent is caught on camera and broadcast to millions of Americans, there isn't much of a way to hide it. That's what Levi Johnston appears to be counting on.
His ex-fiancé, Bristol Palin, is detailing raising their son, Tripp, on a Lifetime reality show called "Life's a Tripp." Johnston is said to be so disgusted by the treatment of his son, he is planning on fighting for full or half custody of Tripp.
As it is now, Palin has full custody and Johnston has visitation rights, according to the terms of their child custody agreement. Johnston is clearly hoping that will change.
Johnston says that the show is "proof" that Palin is an unfit parent. What bothers him the most: Tripp apparently called his aunt a swear word in the midst of a tantrum related to being denied access to the pool. Palin also apparently admitted on camera to doing a "terrible job" disciplining her son.
Johnston, who says that he's afraid his son is on a "downward spiral," has already set up a room for Tripp in his house. He also filed the necessary paperwork to pursue custody of his son. He says, "I will do whatever it takes to make sure [Tripp] is raised the right way."
Johnston and Palin's relationship began when they were in high school. They were engaged twice but ultimately went their separate ways. Before her current reality show, Palin also appeared on "Dancing With the Stars."
